Unfortunately, modern society moves at a fast pace and it is easy to become consumed by it. The memory of the feeling of completeness, easily forgotten. If time is more frequently taken from busy lives to experience this enlightened sense, would society be less inclined to destroy nature and have a greater respect and need to preserve it?

Hi Bonita,
ReplyDeleteFinally my first comment. I hope I can add some value to your writing.
I enjoyed your week 2 nature reflection. We ultimately are all at the mercy of Mother Nature and I think you summed this up nicely. You must really take time to pause and reflect on your natural surroundings because it is pristine and sacred as you allude to.
Faith and nature can go hand in hand because we can always break away from the bustling nature of your lives and concentrate on what is truly important.
Sorry, in the last paragraph of my first comment it should have been 'our' lives not 'your' lives.
